A MANHATTAN CHEF GOES EAST

Blue Lagoon at 677 Farmingdale Rd., West Babylon, 631-225-7619, which was to open in February with Joseph Felicetta as chef, instead launched three weeks ago with John Brill in the kitchen. Brill, who cooked at 105 Harbor in Cold Spring Harbor, executes an eclectic menu of such dishes as wok-fired Sichuan calamari and orange chipotle glazed mahi mahi. Desserts are by pastry chef Kelly Donlon, who was at Mirabelle in St. James and Louis XVI in Patchogue.
